Our expanded CMM room is now up-and-running. Our CMM is being housed in its own climate controlled environment to ensure accurate and repeatable results. This addition is taking Manitowoc’s coordinate measuring machine total up to 8 machines. Ensuring quality product is a top priority at Manitowoc, and adding a machine such as this CMM, allows for added flexibility to meet customers’ needs and expectations.
MTM is in the process of adding yet another brand new Horizontal Machining Center. The machine has arrived, and is currently being positioned to run production. The Mazak HORIZONTAL CENTER NEXUS 6800-II machining center combines advanced technology with high performance and high productivity to achieve maximum performance when working with virtually any type of material. This machine is perfect in our production environment with its’ spacious work envelope and pallet size, as well as a fast rapid traverse speed.
